“TANGOMACHINE” is the first of its kind tango-dance performance in Bulgaria, which is created, choreographed and performed by LAOKOONTANGO (Ivaylo Alexandroff and Gabriela Pancheva) and is built up entirely on the aesthetics of Tango and the digital environment. The performance investigates the delicate connection between the classical elegance of Tango de Salon and the creative impressiveness of Tango Nuevo and experiments radically with the endless possibilities of Tango as a dance and the absolute limitlessness of visual form, being deeply inspired by the words of the great tango composer Osvaldo Pugliese: “Nosotros somos un poroto de la máquina tanguera. Un tornillo de esta máquina, nada más.” - “We are a bean from the tango machine. A screw from this machine, nothing more.” [Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires, 26/12/1985]

A spiral of pleasure, an act of desire. Dance this waltz, collapse the distance, provoke the senses. Secret.
4. Tango Passion (video), Pasión de Tango (choreography)
Engendered memories. Panting impressions. Uncontrolled thoughts. Open pages, spheres, spaces. Passion.
5. Tango Mystery (video), Misterio de Tango (choreography)
Existential games. Versions of life, love, being. Overcoming. Awareness. Penetration. Into the souls. Mystery.
6. Tango Religion (video), Religión de Tango (milonga/choreography)
Life hurts. Period. Spontaneity, obsession, passion. Ritual excitement. Galactic mysteriousness. Religion.
7. Tango Oblivion (video), Olvido de Tango (choreography)
Comprehensive emptiness. And the wings get tired sometimes. Mutuality, past, loneliness, instinct. Keep going. Oblivion.
8. Tango Perfume (video), Perfume de Tango (choreography)
The Big Bang. Restarting, reloading, a new beginning. Uncompromising motion. Dynamics and a scent of eternity. Perfume.
9. Tango Sensation (video), Sensación de Tango (choreography)
Life as a dark matter. Endlessness of black holes. Swallowing and anxiety. Regeneration and synchronicity. Sensation.
10. Tango Machine (Intro: La Maquina Tanguera), La Maquina Tanguera (choreography)
Integrity, totality, completeness. Breathe together. Act and think in harmony. Up to the end. One body with four legs. Tango machine.

The word “conspiracy” comes from the latin “conspirare”, which literary means “breathe together” or “to act in harmony” - conspiro, conspirare, conspiravi, conspiratus: sound/act in unison/harmony/accord/blow together, Oxford Latin Dictionary, 1982 (OLD); “to act in harmony toward a common end”, “to act together”, “Conspire.”: The Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary, Merriam-Webster Inc.
